I have an office in downtown Enumclaw where I provide group therapy, individual therapy, couples and family therapy in a tranquil, private setting. Located at 1174 Myrtle Street, Suite 106, my office is in the downtown district of Enumclaw just 2 blocks from the bus route and 1 block away from the public library and a convenient public parking lot.
I am a Board Certified Tele-Mental Health Counselor (BC-TMH) through the Center for Credentialing and Education. Telemental health counseling is available to individuals 18 years of age and older who reside in the state of Washington. Prior to receiving distance counseling services, prospective clients must consult with me for eligibility as well as to discuss the terms and conditions that apply to these services. If it is determined that distance counseling is appropriate, clients must submit written verification to the terms and conditions before services are rendered. Please contact me if you would like to set up a time to see if this option is a good fit for your mental health needs.
Every beginning deserves nurturing and preparation. Studies show that the divorce rate in America is now 50% for first time marriages and up to 75% for remarriages. However, couples who devote themselves to working on their relationship can strengthen their relationship and set the course for healthy, happy years to come. I offer premarital couples assessments and follow up therapy specifically designed for the indiual couple focusing on their specific strengths and areas for growth. You've found each other and I'm here to help you stay together!
One of the biggest and happiest opportunities in life can be the choice of adopting or fostering a child. As a foster-adopt parent and foster mother, I know the joys and challenges that come with this territory very well.
I provide prospective adoptive and fostering parents a wonderful assessment prior to the beginning of your journey on this new path to help you prepare for your child. I also offer counseling services before, during and after the transition for parents as well the child.
Foster children inherently need additional support and nurturing and counseling can provide the child and the foster parents with support and education to help make the experience a very healthy and enjoyable one.
After a child is adopted, they may present with psychological, physical, behavioral and emotional needs that can benefit from individual or family therapy. This is common and parents need to understand that they are not necessarily doing anything wrong to cause it. Counseling can provide a space to explore these issues and find ways to help you and your child grow and flourish.
As a PREPARE-ENRICH facilitator, I am able to provide assessment and counseling services to couples who are preparing for marriage, wanting to improve their marriage or considering divorce. The PREPARE-ENRICH program has helped over 3 million couples strengthen and improve their relationship. This program begins with a couple assessment that provides very individualized feedback about your strengths and areas of growth as a couple. Together we work on ways to address the concerns and bolster the strengths you already have to improve and nurture your relationship.
